Frequently Asked Questions...

WHY DO I NEED A MAKEUP ARTIST??

Here are some of the top three reasons for hiring a makeup artist:

  • To look your best, in person and on camera.
  • To have access to the top products in the beauty industry without having to purchase them.
  • To relieve any stress that may come with your beauty routine or with makeup needs for a special event.

HOW LONG DOES A MAKEUP APPLICATION TAKE? DO YOU OFFER MAKEUP SERVICES FOR OTHER MEMBERS OF THE BRIDAL PARTY?

Makeup applications are scheduled for 1 hour. It may take less time, but 1 hour would be allocated per person to ensure proper application with no rush or hurry. The same time is allocated for other members of the bridal party, mothers, etc.

WHY IS AIRBRUSHING IMPORTANT?

Airbrushed makeup lays much lighter on the skin and the application also lasts longer. It is also sweat-resistant; this is a fabulous option especially for events happening in Florida.

WHY ARE FALSE EYELASHES NECESSARY AND CAN I OPT OUT OF USING THEM?

In my opinion, false eyelashes complete the full makeup look. It is the finishing touch that adds that extra glam and sparkle to any look whether it be natural or dramatic. If you wear eyelash extensions; you may opt out of having additional false lashes applied. (Pricing adjusted for opting out of lashes)

DO YOU TRAVEL?

YES! I love to travel! I currently travel to Naples, Estero, Bonita, and Fort Myers. I of course travel to additional locations...a small travel fee is added to your final payment. Please contact me for specific locations and availability.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO HOLD A DATE?

Makeup Events- Your deposit is half of your requested services. You do not have to have the final number count at the time of booking, but we can’t guarantee your availability for additional services until those numbers are given to us. Example-I have five bridesmaids, but right now only two want make-up. We will guarantee our availability for the two bridesmaids. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO BOOK?

My bridal makeup services require advance booking, and I recommend that you contact me between six to twelve months in advance for these services. Although the makeup industry can accommodate last-minute needs—and I have worked within two weeks of booking at times—a month or two out for booking non-bridal services is not the norm.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Please message me here thru this page or feel free to message me via Instagram, Facebook, email, or send me a text message. Please include what type of service you are looking for and if you have a date/time preference. All payments will be paid through Venmo.

HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

If you properly maintain your lash extensions, they should last around 2 weeks.

WHAT IS LASH EXTENSION MAINTENANCE?

  • Clean them with micellar cleansing water
  • Refill regularly
  • Avoid lash friction
  • Avoid water for the first 48 hours
  • Avoid waterproof eye products
  • Steer clear of mechanical lash curlers
  • Brush them 2-3 times a day or when needed
  • Don’t pick or pull at your lashes

Eyelash Extensions are single synthetic or natural hairs that are applied one by one to the client’s natural lashes with a special adhesive. Fine-tipped forceps or tweezers are used to apply for the lash extensions, and it can take up to two hours to apply a set. Touch-ups may take up to 30mins - an hour and 30 mins.

Galvanic machine - current contains negative ions, and the treatment gel (containing anti-aging and other ingredients) that is applied to your skin contains positive ions. The current pushes the products deeper into your skin. The products work hard in neutralizing the toxins and harmful free radicals in your skin. used in this treatment helps in tightening the skin by sloughing off dead cells and promoting cell regeneration. As a result, you get more elastic and revitalized skin. Galvanic skin treatment keeps premature aging at bay by boosting hydration in the skin and minimizing wrinkles and fine lines.

Eyebrow Tint & Lash Tint: used to darken lashes and brows. It lasts for a few weeks rather than penciling in eyebrows or having light eyelashes without mascara.

Lash Curl: curl and lift the base of your natural lashes using a chemical-based process.

Chemical Peel: $50-250 - Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that involve the careful exfoliation of the skin using an acid. The acid removes a uniform amount of damaged skin cells across the treatment area. When done appropriately, this allows the skin to heal, with minimal scarring or color changes as a result of the treatment.

Microneedling: $150-200 - the use of a dermal roller or an electronic handpiece to induce puncture wounds to the skin that induce collagen formation during the wound healing process.

Waxing: (Eyebrow) (Lip Wax) Facial hair typically grows faster than other hair on your body and should, therefore, be waxed every two to three weeks. it provides longer-lasting results as it removes the whole strand of hair.

Dermaplane: $100 - Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that removes the top layers of your skin. The procedure aims to remove fine wrinkles and deep acne scarring, as well as make the skin's surface look smooth. Dermaplaning provides an effective and safe exfoliation treatment that promotes deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of skincare products while making the skin look and feel smoother. It is also beneficial for reducing the appearance of acne scars. Dermaplaning is recommended every three to four weeks. An aesthetician will help you figure out a schedule. Each time you get dermaplaned, you're removing about two to three weeks' worth of dead skin cells.
